Job Title: Service Manager

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our team at the retail tire shop. The Service Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and coordinating service-related activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the service team, providing guidance, training, and support

• Coordinate service appointments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks

• Oversee vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify and address issues

• Provide expert advice to customers regarding tire selection, maintenance, and repair services

• Ensure the accurate and timely completion of service orders and transactions

• Collaborate with the sales team to promote additional services and products

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service area

• Implement and enforce safety protocols and industry standards

• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner

• Monitor and manage inventory levels for service-related products

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in automotive technology or related field (preferred)

• Proven experience in automotive services, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role

• Excellent leadership and team management skills

• Strong understanding of automotive systems, including tires, brakes, and suspension

• Knowledge of industry trends, products, and service standards

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-focused attitude with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Proficiency in using computerized systems for service order processing

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification

• Familiarity with tire industry regulations and safety standards
