Job Title: Poly-Fil Technician – Tire Retreading Facility

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Poly-Fil Technician to join our tire retreading facility. The Poly-Fil Technician will play a crucial role in the retreading process by accurately applying polyurethane fill material to enhance the strength and durability of retreaded tires.

Responsibilities:

• Apply polyurethane fill material to tire casings following established procedures

• Inspect tire casings for defects and prepare them for the Poly-Fil application

• Operate Poly-Fil equipment and machinery efficiently and safely

• Monitor Poly-Fil application to ensure accurate and uniform coverage

• Collaborate with the quality control team to meet high standards of product quality

• Perform routine maintenance on Poly-Fil equipment and troubleshoot issues

• Maintain accurate records of Poly-Fil applications and inventory

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

• Collaborate with other technicians to achieve production goals

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Proven experience as a Poly-Fil Technician or in a related role within a tire retreading facility

• Knowledge of tire retreading processes and Poly-Fil application techniques

• Ability to interpret technical manuals and follow established procedures

• Proficiency in using Poly-Fil application equipment and tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work

• Physical capability to lift and handle tires and equipment

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

• Understanding of safety regulations and adherence to proper safety protocols

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in tire retreading or Poly-Fil application
