Job Title: Assistant Store Manager

Job Summary: We are in search of a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Store Manager to support the operations of our retail tire shop. The Assistant Store Manager will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth functioning of the store, provide excellent customer service, and assist in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations

• Assist in driving sales and achieving store profitability goals

• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service

• Supervise and motivate store staff, providing guidance and training as needed

• Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members

• Help maintain a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and employee engagement

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, assisting in stock rotation and ordering

• Implement marketing and promotional activities to boost customer traffic and sales

• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism

• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business or related field (preferred)

• Previous experience in a retail environment, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service

• Basic knowledge of retail operations, inventory management, and merchandising

• Familiarity with tire products, services, and industry standards (preferred)

• Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and other retail software

• Flexible schedule, including the ability to work weekends and holidays

• Ability to step in for the Store Manager when needed

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the automotive or tire industry
