An alignment technician job is a dynamic and rewarding position in the automotive industry. It is an entry-level position that requires basic knowledge of auto mechanics and the ability to operate machinery. Alignment technicians are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle components related to wheel alignment, ensuring that vehicles are safe on the road.
The successful candidate should be able to complete alignments, tire installations, tire repairs and oil changes on commercial trucks, SUVs, and passenger cars.

Commercial Service Manager
The Commercial Service Manager will be responsible for managing all of Rice Tire’s commercial tire services and providing exceptional customer service.
The manager will ensure the highest level of quality control for all commercial tire services, overseeing every aspect from ordering and receiving tires to installation and maintenance. They will also be in charge of scheduling service appointments with customers, providing guidance on maintenance plans and ensuring customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate is required to possess commercial tire experience and will share the direct responsibility with the Profit Center Manager for the sales and profit goals set forth by the Company.
Inside Counter Sales
Counter sales are a vital part of the tire sales and service industry. As a tire industry professional, being able to handle counter sales is key to providing top notch customer service. Inside counter sales involve more than just selling parts and services; they also require excellent communication with customers, making sure that they understand the automotive issues they are facing.
The preferred candidate would have experience in service writing and/or tire sales, although we are willing to train the ideal candidate. The successful candidate will sell tires, wheels and accessories and services while displaying great customer interaction skills and a drive to succeed. Background in preparing mechanical quotes desirable.
This position requires off site training and continued expectations of growth and skilled aptitude training.
Heavy Duty Mechanic
The successful applicant must be able to perform mechanical services on commercial vehicles, must have knowledge of fluid and filter exchanges, brakes, suspensions, minor repairs and be able to complete 3 axle vehicle alignments. Must have your own basic tools for the job. Must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, a DOT medical card or be able to become medically qualified to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
General Service Technician
The ideal candidate will be able to mount/balance/repair industrial, passenger and light truck tires; perform oil change service and safety checks with the use of PMA and perform basic mechanical services.
Primary responsibilities will include assisting with warehouse duties, stacking commercial truck tires, cleaning and maintaining grounds to include the warehouse. Must be able to operate a forklift and be able to lift heavy loads up to 120 pounds. Successful candidate may be asked to provide assistance in the delivery process.
The successful candidate must be able to change passenger, light truck, industrial and commercial truck tires. Experience required in changing industrial and commercial truck tires; we are willing to train the ideal candidate in changing passenger and light truck tires.

Road Service Technician
The successful candidate must be able to change passenger, light truck, industrial and commercial truck tires. Experience required in changing industrial and commercial truck tires; we are willing to train the ideal candidate in changing passenger and light truck tires. Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. Candidate may be required to run road calls days and/or night.
Off Road Tire Technician
The ideal applicant will be responsible for providing tire service and repair for off the road equipment (construction, earthmoving, mining, farm, etc.) primarily at customer locations. Applicant must be able to perform service calls on nights and/or weekends, as required. This person must be able to perform successfully in a high volume, fast paced environment. Rice Tire offers ongoing training for advancement and income growth.
Pre-employment drug screen required. Must have a valid DOT medical card or be able to become medically qualified. Compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations and safety requirements expected. Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
