Family fun however is where Frederick really shines!  Take the kids out to the Catoctin Wildlife Preserve and ZooWalkersville Southern Railroad,  or Adventure Park USA.  Take in the sites, enjoy the day and when it’s time eat, there is no shortage of great places like Pistarro’s Pizza which bakes its creations in a volcanic clay oven hand made in Naples Italy!  SIX minutes away for Rice Tire, it’s a great place to have lunch while your car is getting serviced.   For something a bit more adult and within walking distance, try Olde Mother Brewing.

Rice Tire has come through for us twice.First time was for an RV trailer that had 3 of 4 tires go bad 90 miles from home. They had the 4 tires in stock and had them changed in an hour upon arrival to the shop.7/16/2020. Different RV trailer with a new tire from another dealer who didn't change the valve stem when they installed the new tire. Trailer tire pressure monitor notified of low air pressure. Since we were on 70 West heading towards Frederick, I contacted Rice Tire. Upon arrival they had me back the trailer in, removed the tire and replaced the bad valve stem and back on the road in 20 minutes. If you need tires, contact Rice Tires in Frederick Maryland. They are the best!!

This is the best tire store around. A long-time family business that I have been using for years; they are first-rate and go the extra mile. Got a flat on my 61,000 mile Chevy Colorado tires on Friday, took it in Monday and got: the best price on a new set of Goodyear Fortitudes (I searched online and called many places for prices) and they had me in and out in an hour. Put my spare back under the truck (no easy job).
